About Our Therapist
Morgan Herrick, LMHC
Hi, my name is Morgan and I spent the majority of my undergraduate career recovering from an eating disorder. I began to pursue the field of psychology after my therapist helped me recover from what I never thought I could.
I am passionate about helping my clients see that freedom from their struggle is possible, guiding them on their journey to getting there.
If you simply want to free yourself from ‘diet culture’ and learn how to feel good in your skin, if you want to figure out who it is that you are and explore your sense of self, or if you are struggling with an intense eating disorder that is ripping your life away from you, I am here to help you. It took me years to ask for help because I did not think I was “sick enough” or deserving of help;—don’t let that be you.
If this is your first time seeking therapy, Welcome. If I am the third therapist you are trying this month, Welcome. If no part of you wants to enter my office but your loved one or provider is pushing you to do so, Welcome.
Wherever you are at is where I will meet you. My office is a space where you can be authentic and raw, showing the imperfect and the messy. That is, after all, how we heal.

Why BLUE PEARL?
The blue pearl represents truth, tranquility, self-discovery, courage, and inner peace. Blue pearls are said to encourage the flow of thoughts and emotions.
How is a pearl formed?
When an irritant (for example, a grain of sand) enters a mollusk shell, the mollusk’s protection mechanism ignites. The mollusk secretes a substance called nacre, which coats the irritant and protects the shell. Over time as this substance hardens inside the shell, a pearl is formed.
Throughout our lives, we are constantly encountering “irritants” or obstacles, hardships, and struggles. Each of these irritants continues to shape who we are, teaching us lessons and encouraging our internal growth.
We become something of such worth as a result of every obstacle we faced. Just as the pearl, something of such beauty and worth, comes simply from a mollusk and a grain of sand.
