Individual Therapy

Blue Pearl Therapy offers one-on-one therapy sessions to residents of Massachusetts, Vermont, and Florida. Clients can attend sessions either in-person at our office located in Topsfield, MA, or virtually through a HIPPA-compliant platform.

In these sessions your therapist will work with you to discover where your struggles with food and body came from. She will educate you on your struggles with food and body, explaining the very strong connection these struggles have with emotions. She will provide insight into how to cope with difficult emotions without starving or stuffing your feelings. You and your therapist will explore self-compassion and what might be holding you back from letting this in. You will work to begin respecting and honoring your body, working toward a place of body acceptance, body peace, and body confidence. You and your therapist will work together to help you heal and grow into your truest, most vibrant self.

Individual therapy is a team effort. It requires work both inside and outside of sessions. The most important thing to remember when it comes to individual therapy is that you don’t ever have to do it alone.

Support Groups — Coming Soon!

One aspect of therapy that can be so healing is being among others that share the same (or similar) struggles to you. Healing in a community encourages one of the three pillars of self-compassion—the knowledge that you are never alone.
