Anorexia Nervosa

An eating disorder in which you will never be small enough.

Anorexia Nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by restrictive eating patterns, distorted body image, and a low body weight.*

*It is possible to suffer from anorexia nervosa without being underweight. This is called Atypical Anorexia Nervosa, in which an individual meets most of the criteria for anorexia nervosa, but is not underweight.

This can lead individuals to avoid seeking help due to thinking they are not “sick enough.”
