Bulimia Nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by binge eating patterns followed by the use of compensatory behaviors.*

Feeling out of control around food
Binge eating / compulsive overeating
Purging Behaviors (forced vomiting, laxative-use, diuretic use, excessive exercise)
Fear of weight gain
Intense guilt or shame surrounding food
Poor body image
Using food as a coping mechanism to deal with difficult emotions
Frequent use of the bathroom after meals
Medical issues including (but not limited to) dental/esophageal issues, kidney problems, chemical imbalances, lethargy
Bulimia nervosa can be fatal.
